Dr. Austin is in-network for patients with Cigna insurance.

As a courtesy to our patients, we accept and file claims for all insurance company plans (except Medicaid). We are only contracted as an in-network provider with Cigna insurance. If you have a different in-network option with your employer, you can still choose Dr. Austin for your dentist. To make using your benefits easy for you, we handle the claim processing and remit your claim directly to your insurance company. The anticipated benefit check will be remitted either to our office or to you directly (the latter being a best-practice option for some plans). The percentage of coverage for in-network versus out of network is usually the same or very close for most plans. If your insurance company pays from a set fee schedule, we can submit a pre-treatment estimate prior to your dental appointment so that your insurance company can gauge your out-of-pocket cost.

Being out-of-network means that if there is a difference between our fee and the fee set by your insurance provider, you are responsible for the difference. Our fees are based on customary rates for our area and are often close to the insurance company's fee schedule. Most patients using out-of-network benefits for routine care (cleanings and exams) incur very minimal out-of-pocket cost.
